My neighbor’s tree limbs hang over my property line. Can I cut them?
Yes. Your property line is a vertical plane extending both up and down. Any tree limbs on your side of the property line are your responsibility.

Do I have to mow the back yard too?
Yes. Tall grass, weeds and underbrush create breeding grounds/sanctuary for disease carrying mosquitoes and other pests. If the grass/underbrush is over 12 inches tall it needs to be cut.
To review the entire Ordinance, view Article 7-4-2, section 110,
Sanitary Conditions and Procedures.
